| Yeah, I’m probably off on my example, I don’t remember all the details, I was a bystander. Maybe the OK dealer transferred it to the other state FFL holder in person, rather than shipping it, then the buyer picked it up from his state FFL holder when he got back home. |
| On the flip side, if you skip the tables w/ pistols, you now have 30 seconds to look @ each rifle/shotgun table. I've also bought 3 antiques @ Tulsa - a Spanish 7x57mm Mauser, an antique Mosin, & a 1898 built Winchester 1897 takedown. Antiques (pre-1899) are cash & carry. |

And there is some stupid chinaflu rule that it has to be 50% of that number or some shit. By the time all the vendors, workers and security are in the building there is room for about only 87 attendees. Thus canceled. |

| I’m not sure when it started but I went to my first one in the late 70’s (I think?), maybe early 80’s, I’ve been going ever since. My dad (now passed) lived in southern OK, I kept telling him how big it was. I guess he didn’t believe me, I couldn’t ever get him to Tulsa when it was happening. Finally, after he retired at 65, I got to take him. He was a man of few words, he just shook his head and grinned. We spent the entire Saturday there, he went back home and told everyone knew about it. |

I fear the same thing is going to happen this time. It looks like there is still a mask mandate in tulsa but I can't find anything current about social distancing requirements which would kill the show. It's 3 weeks out and no definitive statement from the promoter and they aren't communicating at all on their facebook page, it doesn't look promising. |
I'm going to try to go before work on the Saturday morning. Will see. They just did a home and garden show which a Tulsa gun/safe/grill store attended. She said there a ton of people. If Comrade GT allowed that to happen, I think Wanamacher could happen. Also, I will be looking for a 10/22 with a threaded barrel, preferably in pink, but won't be too picky on the color

| Shit, it always sneaks up on me. Shit there is expensive as shit and mostly fucking trash, but there are some very rare things and great deals hidden in there. I liken it to panning for gold. You have to sift through a lot of shot but there’s some fucking deals in there if you enjoy digging. Either way it can be a lot of fun. |

Not entirely true, there are a few jewelry tables/end caps. A few coin dealers and some T-shirt vendors. I think they say 95% is firearm related. I will say the last few years the show had shrunk by a few rows of tables and a few more of those vendors popped up. I would suspect that this year it will be full but you are correct that the gun to junk table ratio is way on the positive side. We enjoy eating at McGills at the top of the Hard Rock, if you like old school Italian Ti Amo on Sheridan is really good. |
