Can you comment on how affiliate revenue compares to membership revenue?

I think it is the delivery that rubs people the wrong way.

But you already knew that.

Is it better for me to believe you are being purposefully obtuse or just ignorant? ( No disrespect )

Let's go with the latter since I truly hope the first option isn't true.

You are asking for clicks under the guise of offering deals. You know it, I know it, we know it.

Own it and it will feel less weird. This feels like forced advertisements, and there was already no shortage of those.

We all love deals, don't get me wrong. But you could have dropped those in the other active threads if it was just a deal.

For the record, I'll be using at least 2 of those codes in the next few days.

Arfcom deals just seems like a sorta repost of gun.deals page

just go there and type in the MPN / UPC and see where it aggregates the 'net for deals on that particular model

There or reddit /gundeals has some good deals that move fast.

This or LAPG? Same price, both NiJ "tested", not certified, LAPG 2# less per plate

Zap Zap! There's a few avenues to look at it. RMA is an American company who produces their plates in the US. The 1155 at one time held NIJ CPL and the subsequent loss is still an odd duck, and pending an appeal/suit. With the now proposed NIJ 07 CPL, RMA stated they will re-cert the 1155. It weighs 8lbs because it has a complete edge to edge strike face, and an E-glass backer. The E-glass while giving up to strong threats and or things that may make it past the strike face, holds backface numbers lower.  RMA presses their backers, and addition autoclaves the strike face and backer. It's a great entry level plate..

The LAPG style plates are typically from Chinese origin. They employ non name branded backing materials, that many in the industry and even industry experts from China will agree their PE material is not as good as US/European stuff. These plates are lighter than the RMA 1155 because they lack an edge to edge strike face as they use a square and rectangle tile arrangement on the strike face. There is a foam ring that would make up the space to the plate's edge. The NIJ's testing allows this because under the Level IV and even upcoming threat RF3 threat standard will not shoot closer than 2"-3" from the edge.  These tile designs can take some abuse, however their overall craftsmanship can be lacking. Those ceramic tiles are typically HAND laid on to those backers in a bed of unevenly applied adhesive. When those tiles are not properly and TIGHTLY fitted together, we've seen penetrations where the bullet seemingly hit on the edge of 2 opposing tiles. Labs in China don't have access to M2AP, and sometimes not even M80 ball, and will substitute testing with X54R, and even if it's B32-API is not the same threat standard.  That would leave LAPG to do the above mentioned internal testing or NIJ testing, and in hindsight all reseller/distributors/manufacturers of armor should be ROUTINELY and in frequency internally or externally lot testing their products.

Even after RMA lost the 1155 CPL, I still hold it above any imported tile array plate merely in terms of a consistent and proven construction :D

Can You Trust RMA Defense Model 1155 Level IV Plate?
