What I'm told is, on every road with a speed limit over 40 mph. all signs have to be mounted on breakaway mounts. You've seen them, they are triangular with 3 bolts holding them. Well, with a cordless impact, someone could loosen up those bolts, and Mother Nature using some wind could do the work for you. Or, you could look up the standard these are supposed to be installed to. Inspect them, and when you find something wrong, report it to the department of transportation and ask them to have it fixed. With my time spent in oilfield construction, I can assure you that if you inspect hard enough, you will find something wrong. Also, if you're interested, on Facebook, there is a Deflock America group you can join. They are only slightly more motivated than the posters here. |

Harbison has been a nightmare for decades now and the apartment complexes near the mall are essentially no go zones. Other than passing by traveling on 26 I haven't been inot Irmo in a while but according to some friends and family who live on the lake it's gotten a lot worse. It used to be nice place but I know people have moved further north into Chapin. Of course they've been hiring NJ Nazis for cops and it's been invaded with northerners and the type who like HOAs... The SC of even twenty years ago is quickly falling by the wayside. |
| If people keep doing what needs to be done I expect we'll start seeing multiple cameras with overlapping coverage like they have in China. I also expect that they already have the tech to collect signals from drones that could be carrying spray paint cans attached to them. |

Guilty Until Proven Innocent: A Flock AI Camera Fraudulently Accusing a Driver of Package Theft Al Landes Wed, July 8, 2026 at 10:35 AM CDT Chrisanna Elser got a summons from Columbine Valley police accusing her of stealing a package. The evidence? A license-plate-reader camera that placed her truck near the scene. The problem? She wasn't there. According to Denverite, Elser had to dig up her own timestamped truck video and a neighbor's doorbell camera footage to prove it. Nobody verified the camera's implication before the summons landed. The camera spoke, and the system listened — no further questions asked. Flock Safety operates a network of ALPR (automated license-plate reader) cameras that capture point-in-time images of plates on public roads. Police departments across the country use them. Columbine Valley police issued Elser a summons based solely on that Flock footage, per CBS News Colorado. Then the evidentiary work fell entirely to her: Elser gathered her own evidence: timestamped video from her truck and a neighbor's doorbell camera, as reported by Denverite. That evidence showed she was not at the scene during the alleged theft. Police voided the summons after reviewing the materials she provided. Police showed up at her door with Flock camera “proof” she stole a package. She had timestamped video from her truck + neighbor’s doorbell proving she wasn’t even there. Cop refused to watch it: “That’s not my job.” Charges dropped only after weeks of fighting. This is the surveillance state. Guilty until you prove your own innocence. |

Start a website and pay people to submit images of broken cams. Make them sign off promising that they did not do the damage themselves, nor know who did it. Pay $50 for the first picture of a unique camera. I guess it would be a challenge to get ad revenue for the site though. |

I would assume cutting the pole down would not be just due to the price. But I also assume a 2 inch ball bearing just tossed as your walking along , that accidently broke the glass on the solar cell would not be a felony either. You know playing catch with yourself and using the heavy steel ball for exercise, be terrible if the solar cell got wet inside and did not charge properly. |

![]() In Houston, someone cut down two Flock surveillance cameras on Independence Day, spray-painted the lenses, and left American flags in their place. Police are now seeking the public's help to identify the individual responsible. Flock cameras have drawn criticism from many who see them as part of growing government surveillance. The timing and the flags left behind turned the incident into a major talking point online. https://abc13.com/post/houston-flock-cameras-vandalized-cut-down-spray-painted-washington-avenue-police-say/19459797/ |

I guess that dilapidated gas station parking lot I walked across needs a new coat of asphalt. |

We had a bunch cut down this week in my area. I don't use them for my part time job but have used them in my last real job. They were great for what they were used for, mainly finding stolen cars and elderly people that wandered off and got reported missing. But I guess I understand the hate for them. Kind of I guess.....I personally wish there were more so if my car got stolen I would have better help finding it. I used to think only the criminals would not want these but clearly I am wrong. Apparently better tracking tech for criminals is bad for law abiding people as well. I don't care, get rid of them all. Just don't be mad when your car gets stolen and you will be like "the cops did nothing other than take a police report". It's a great tool but will likely not be around at this rate. |
