These plants can easily be turned into dirty bombs and it's obvious that's Putin's doomsday failsafe should he ultimately lose, and he will unless he commits far more boots on the ground to hold territory as they advance. They cannot do that now. If he's holding the area of the nuclear plants, and blow them up, he can say, and will, that the Ukrainians did it trying to attack his forces. The column that everyone thought was going to Odessa has not turned, but clearly shows they are going for the nuclear plant above Odessa. That leaves two remaining without Russian force advance on it. Those are in the west, not that far from Poland. View Quote Why would Putin make dirty bombs? He has real ones. |

They're T-38s out of Beale AFB who has a restriction on how many can stay in the pattern at the base so they go work at Mather, Stockton and sometimes Sacramento. There are no F-15s based in the area in a long time apparently. The closest F-15s are in Fresno and Oregon. So, not suspicious. I know a guy at Tucson approach too. I can check to see if anything spooky is happening there too if you'd like |

Yes it is hard to put 2 plus 2 together to figure out what is going on. Flight ops during pilot training can vary a lot based on what stage of training the class is in and numerous other variables. Just because they seem to be doing things more and in areas not normally used doesn't mean anything is up. Also, what is going on now in Ukraine could be making him notice what is probably normal ops that he just wasn't noticing before now. 9 of my 20 years in the AF was in pilot training units. |
