My prediction: Clooneys speech at the DNC may get close to 80% of the smugness he displayed in that oscar acceptance speech.
Other than that, lots of talk about Republicans wanting to murder minorities, women, etc. No talk about their record over the last few years. No mention of the dismal economic recovery. No mention of Gitmo still being open, or troops still in Afghanistan. Basic Democrat delusions. |

Didn't watch the RNC (I rarely watch TV anyway), so I'm certainly not going to watch the DNC.....
However, just out of curiosity...can someone keep me posted on how MSDNC* covers the convention (no doubt with a lot of joyful agreement, smiles, and not questioning the gospel as presented by the most liberal members of the party), especially as compared to their coverage of the RNC? Thanks! AFARR (* I can't take credit for the term MSDNC...I first saw it used in a comment on Huffpo, but I think it is entirely applicable). |

Clooney is an excellent example of the ultimate Aamerican* liberal.
Blabs about the rich not helping the poor as an excuse for more taxes, but qualifies as a "1%'er" with room to spare who uses every legal tax dodge in the book. Complains about domestic issues, but holds fundraising parties overseas in his private villas. * Apologies for capitalizing america. After all, we're no better nor more important than anybody else.
