I saw one in a flea market a few years back. It was in the original hideaway table. It was sitting with a bunch of old, shitty looking end tables. I asked the guy how much he wanted for "this table" $30 I had to replace a lenght of cord on it, other than that, she runs perfect. |
She just picked up a 1941-vintage model with the fancy scrollwork on the aluminum plate (instead of the vertical groves) and paid $250. I think she paid around $200 or so for the others. |
No doubt! He told me "Those Mexicans are using my dolly to load some furniture they just bought, you can use it when they're done." And walked off. I picked it up and damn near ran to the truck with it. Undoubtedly, he thought it was just an old table. I wasn't about to try to educate him.
