| Had a good time this weekend, gassed once and maced twice! The JBT's were really getting a hard-on for squirting that stuff! The whole area of Clumbus east of High St. was looking pretty wild. Cop helo's, tons of riot control, etc. piles of burning cars. It was pretty impressive. I personally think looting and rioting is ridiculous, but it did give me a good laugh seeing how useless police are against a mob of drunk college students. Just think if the SHTF for real. I am not to sure about the restraintless use of mace, however. Just walking down the road could be quite painful. I got sprayed the first time because I looked at a group as they walked by, and the second time because I came to a checkpoint twice in the same hour or something. Couldn't get back to my friends house because every group made you go the other way, essentially trapping you on a small island of sidewalk. Oh well, just thought everyone might get a laugh at my drunk experience. |

Quoted: F*cking turds think a football game is a reason to act like savages and you have the balls to criticize the cops. Drunks are rioting, looting, burning cars and you question the use of a little eye, nose and throat irritant? Not criticizing the cop's as far as using mace. In fact, a few of the more idiotic rioters should have probably been shot in the knee, but I did think it was pretty ridiculous to get maced just for passing a group of them on the corner. p.s. I really don't care about mace or tear gas and in no way intended for this to turn into a cop-bashing or a childish war. |
| Reminds me of the time when I was at Ft Sill in 99-00 for OAC, when Purdue (kicked the sorry Hoosiers butts back to BMG yesterday!!!) and ND played in the NCAA women Hoops Championship. I was really disappointed in the post-game activities on campus. Don't think that had ever happened. Scared to think if we had won. Not really sure how big it was. Or what group of people were involved. We're pretty conservative, so it seems odd when something like that happens. |
