Wanted something sweet after dinner. So I whipped up a batch of oatmeal raisin cookies. They go great with coffee with a little bourbon in it.

If you need a good basic oatmeal raisin cookie recipe, use the one on the Quaker Oats website…they don’t last very long when I make them.

Fucking raisins belong in Post Raisin Brand, in GORP or by themselves, not in cookies, carrot cake or apple pie.

If I were president my first order of business would be all oatmeal raisin cookies would require labeling similar or the way that cigarettes are labeled, warning the consumer that they are about to eat an oatmeal raisin cookie, and not a far superior chocolate chip cookie, that the oatmeal raisin tries to masquerade as.
At least twice in my life I have been bamboozled by improperly labeled cookies. |
