A friend of mine believes that the election was rigged and that Obama didnt actually win. Do you think this is a possibility in our country? |

What? McCain ran a crappy campaign (and was a lackluster pick at best), the media brainwashed the masses for 8 damn years that the republicans were the debil - and your friend thinks the election needed to be rigged?
That sounds like A. Denial B. Really wishful thinking C. His tinfoil hat is on too tight Edit - I see someone brought their hat...

Fraud by Acorn and MSM not doing investigative reporting on the Democratic candidate made it possible for the Left to steal the election. Anyone who thinks it was a fair election is kidding themselves.
Almost forgot McCain endorsed obama just before election day that didn't help our cause either! |

No. Lots of voter fraud, sure, but not THAT much.
More like we've just got lots of gullible idiots and Hussein's competition was lackluster. Quoted:
I actually think that Hillary Clinton won the Democratic Primaries. She won all of the major states but loses the nomination? Also Florida voters got screwed.Yeah, the DNC stole the primary for Obama, THAT one was stolen. Not the general, the general was just stupid manifesting itself in great numbers. |

Define rigged.
I've heard (I know that is weak, but I don't recall the reference) that media bias accounts for 15% and 90+% of the media is liberal. 15% the other way would have been the biggest landslide ever. Even splitting the difference at 7.5% would have turned the tide. As for voter fraud, I don't see enough to have made a difference. |

IIRC, all the major polls back then had McCain beating Hillary but losing to Obama. After watching how McCain ran his campaign from October on, I have a hard time believing that the election was stolen from him. |

It's a possibility, but the election wasn't close enough to be stolen. "Was there fraud?" probably yes, and on both sides "Did the fraud have any effect?" The odds of the fraud having any effects on the results approach 0. |

The odds of the fraud having any effects on the results approach 0. What is your opinion based on ? The results were fairly internally consistent (democrats tended to win where democrats were winning) and there were no blindingly obvious fraud markers. Either the fraud was 1. Local and insignificant (local SEIU goons doing their "good neighbor, vote for obama if you want it to stay that way" routine and similar) or 2. It was amazingly widespread, and could have picked Mickey Mouse as the winner I believe 1. |

Things turned around, he got a message that resonated, and had a lot of positive energy behind the campaign. It was his to lose after that, but as you say, from October on, he just pissed it all away as fast as he could manage. |

Rigged by the MSM, Soros and pals. Yes, people were voting against Bush because they didn't see any improvement in Iraq and retards were making the Vietnam comparison (which now is Afghanistan). Reminds me of my favorite memory from GW1... brief operational pause before steamrolling the Iraqis again, but it didn't take two minutes of pausing before the MSM was going, "QUAGMIRE!"
One day we'll purge the Soviets from our press. One day. |
