So, if you had to pay for one of three in a live Friday Night Debate-Obama fight ...

Who would you drop $50 on for a ring side seat to watch them debate Big O  ?

1.) Newt Gingrich

2.) Mitt Romney

3.) Rick Santorum

ETA - I didn't put Ron Paul down ... sorry, I forgot about him.

Newt, but it would be funny to watch Santorum be a dick bag to obama in front of an audience.

Romney is just like obama and they would both skirt around anything asked.

In a battle of wits among those three Newt is the only one who comes armed.

Or Gingrich/West.

I am donating. We have to crush Obamas dreams of a permanently devastated America. The enemy is within the wire.

no Rick Perry option?

1/22/2012 9:47:09 AM EDT

The last two would be more like a girly slapfest, Gingrich, even thought he may not be liked by some, would rip Obama's head off, use his boiled skull as a drinking glass, and feed the remains to the vultures.

GINGRICH!

As much as I hate debates and politicians, I'd like to see Gingrich vs Obama.

Yikes, just 1 vote for Rick thus far.

Obama would need 5 or 6 more teleprompters, an ear piece connected to 25 Advisers to even go up against Newt.
1/22/2012 9:56:34 AM EDT

Newt v. Obummer.  Newt would make BHO cry like a little girl and when he was done he would have his way with the first wookie just for principle of being the winner.   It would be awesome.

I'm in the same boat.  I like Santorum, but I think Newt is the one that will destroy Obama in a debate, raise more $$ than Santorum, and lead us to a republican victory.

ETA:  Romney can jump off a bridge into a burning lake of tar.

I personally don't dislike Mittens, and I think Rick's a standup guy. Pretty tough, despite the "McLovin" yearbook picture from a few years back.

But Newt's something else. I remember the debates with McCain, wanting someone that would just nail Obummer to the wall. I've waited for years for someone to take him to task, watching as talking heads toss him softball questions, as media outlets give him a pass. Finally we have someone that would go through the teflon messiah like chris farley through a table, and is willing to throw the challenge flag when a moderator is fishing for a soundbyte for DNC ads.

I think McCain threw the election. I believe he thought the time was right for the first black president.

I'm not sure the loss occurred totally by design. A whole lot of things had to happen. IIRC McCain had just pulled ahead of Obummer up until 9-15 happened

Man, that brings back a lot of shitty memories. Mr. McCain is a war hero and probably a fine gentlemen, but I cannot f'ing believe we ended up with him as the nominee, no fight in him whatsoever.

Especially when you consider how hostile Obama has been towards Arizona.

It saddens the whole state that we didn't have a decent candidate to replace McCain in '10. At least this will be his final term.

Say what you want about Newt, but the guy has an excellent memory, is well read, and is very self-confident allowing him to handle stress/pressure very well.

He's an academic who can actually put his knowledge into practice.
