he didnt order, think up or have anything to with it beside maybe getting a brief on it. if it goes well, he will be saying how "he" did it, if it gets fucked, well blame the NSA/CIA/ETC That's what I'm getting as well. He's trying to appear tough for the average citizen and sway votes as the election draws nearer. But he'll have the fall back on saying that it was started under the previous admisitration if it goes wrong, and can pass the buck. |

whatever the story is, how the fuck did it get leaked out again? My first thought as well after reading the article. Makes you wonder exactally why it was released. Usually this stuff is classified and put away for 50 years or so istn't it? Anyone with half a brain could put two and two together and realize that Israel and most likely the U.S. developed this worm to attack Iran's facilities. You don't have to be a rocket scientologist to see the writing on the wall: the anti-Semite in chief teamed up with the Israelis to try to cripple Natanz. |

I think it was pretty much a given that it came from us or the Israeli's, but why put it out in the open? Seems to me it just opens you up for retribution. Maybe I'm just looking too deep into this. |

Leaking such an admission is no different than someone leaking the details of an anonymous military strike, incursion or operation. It is colossally stupid and probably treasonous behavior.
Such things can and are viewed by the international community as acts of war and the US knows this. Iran has conducted covert attacks on our troops in Iraq but using a cyber weapon against them in response opens us up to attacks from anyone willing to undertake this kind of warfare. Assuming this isn't just speculation (it rarely is) by the NYT, Congress and the Justice Department needs to find out the source of this information making its way to the NYT and put a stop to it by sending someone to Federal Prison. I have no problem with using this kind of tool against Iran, but I see a huge problem with any admission of this getting out. |

"...based off interviews with anonymous intelligence sources with access to the highly-classified program..." Bull Shit. This has political hack written all over it. I bet it came straight from the White House, with Zero's approval. The article still has a "Bush's Fault' out built right into it. |
