I've built my truck to be great on the street because thats where I use it but I've been thinking about building an off hwy vehicle.
I haven't done a lot of off roading, most of the places I want to go that don't have roads are accountable by boat(technically an off road  vehicle too)

I'm not so much in to rock crawling,I think I want to build a Baja stile truck.
Any of you guys have a build of this type going'n on?

Lets see it,I'm gona rip off your ideas

Don't think you have too much rockcrawling or baja action in Florida.   You are in more of muddin country.   A baja style truck is really for sand dunes type action which not what you would be doing with it so I would suggest a Jeep or Truck and throw on a lift, some 35 inch tires and a selectable locker in the rear and you should be good to go.

Do you own a truck you want to build up? The cheapest way into this kind of thing is buy someone else's build. Right now people need the cash, and you can get a hell of a deal. This guy built the truck on the left for about $7k. As far as baja trucks, start searching Craigslist in Cali. They're not too popular here in Florida. There's a reason for that, two wheel drive trucks get stuck pretty easy in mud, and thats 90% of what you'll see in Florida. Are you a big guy? Most baja trucks are rangers or tacomas. Good luck, and if you can narrow down what you're looking for we could probably help more.
