Yes, I can remember your old avatar.
I've been there off and on since the early '90s. We should meet up there some day.

I took a potato vid of the one that went in the water just off the beach when the grid fins locked up. Tree line blocked the splash. We could see the spin and wobble but had no idea how it ended till we went back inside and saw the footage online.

Buddy took me shooting when I was visiting many years ago.
Some guy owned a wrecking yard off the 50 and cleared out the back of it for a shooting range.
He was celebrating his Son coming home from the sand box.

One of the guys there had a Bushmaster .50 and invited everybody there to shoot it , yeah I took a turn on that bad boy !
Wouldn't doubt if you were there (probably 25 guys)

LOL

Sounds like they will set a new launch time.

Now it is iffy.  Reason for the hold not disclosed.  See next post by Chokey for the reason.

Backup launch opportunity Friday.

One minute it was looking like Chokey's picture above and now it has suddenly cleared off.

Weird weather here sometimes.

Great Pics Chokey!
I'm still amazed that they can land the booster on a pitching and yawing target that is So Small.
The hardware and software required to do that boggles my mind.

No launch today , pushed back to Saturday.

Launch window opens up at 9 A.M.

It's not weather , it's mechanical.

Local news is saying they want to launch as soon as the window opens up.

Clouds and a bit of moisture coming in from the East.
Was going to head out to the Port but it's chilly and the vantage point from here is pretty good so I'm staying put.
