Thanks Ted, you just made my day. Ted is one of the good guys at the ATF. My eform1 for an SBR Uzi was denied on 7/11 because I had the model incorrect. I refiled and informed Mr Clutter, he approved my corrected form at 10 pm last night. Thanks Ted |

If it was Ted's job to deny the form, guess what he would have done. I wonder what he would do if it was his job to load people on trains? |

You missed the part where he turned around the correction in one day on the eve of the rule change taking effect, getting the approved form to OP at 10pm... Ted's signature is on several of my forms but they have all been first round approves. This isn't the first time I've heard about great customer service from him though, hope his yearly evaluations and pay reflect his dedication. |

| I have heard nice things about Ted and his name is on a couple of my stamps. In the 20 years or so I've been playing with NFA toys I've had nothing but good experience with examiners. I'm not a fan of the organization as a whole and would love for NFA to be repealed but I still appreciate good service. |

Congrats OP, UZIs are fun and have little recoil, I'm sure your daughter will enjoy it. Quoted:

I don't know the guy but it seems he goes out of his way to be helpful when people have issues. That's unusual enough, much less in .gov. |

I read a post a couple weeks back saying he was approving e-forms past midnight (his time) during the middle of the week.
I dealt with him once on a dissaproved F1 over an error on my Applicants Name & Mailing Address (I know, ) and he approved it within a few hours.

Jason Frushour did the same for me when my Spikes Crusader SBR was disapproved because I entered the model number incorrectly. I resubmitted and had an approval less than two hours later. He's the one that fixed my SN screw up. He put the form one in the mail to me that day, I corrected the form 1 and had it back in the mail the same day I got it and he had the approved form 1 back in the mail the same day he got it back. Just to make the people waiting on form 1's now feel bad, this was in Sept '07 and even with the round trip to me and back at the end I still got it back approved in 59 days from the day I sent it in. |

| I got disapproved on my first SBR eFile two years ago, a year later I did a Draco, got approved. This year I decided to do the AR which got disapproved initially. Filed, like a day later I realized errors got corrected, so I sent an email with the new and old control numbers, same lower. 24hrs I got approved. Thanks Again, Ted Clutter. |
