| I recently bought a used 1982 K20 and drove it home (about 5 hours) with no issues. It had a leak from the oil pan gasket which I replaced yesterday. The PO was running Rotella 15W40 in it before and so that's what I put back in. Before the change the pressure was reading about 50-55 PSI which I though was kind of high but alright, and after the change the needle pegged and stayed there. Any ideas on what caused this? I'm thinking maybe if I went to a 10W30 or even 5W20 it might read different but I'm not sure. I've never had or seen an issue like this. |
