It's a Smith & Wesson Model 76.

It looks fragile, but it has the Smith & Wesson name. So it must be a decent gun.

How does it compare to the MP-5?

I had one years ago, a very solid subgun and priced cheap for class 3.

Same as so-called Karl Gustaf, aka Swedish K.

Crude, but rugged. Not as accurate or refined as the MP5, but effective.

Swedish models were used by Special Forces in Viet Nam and later since they could not be traced back to the US if captured while on black ops.

Still a cheaper option if you are looking to buy a class three, I have seen them for $5000 and up, transferable.

ETA Mrcleantohire beat me.
