For the few that don't know who is this guy:

Chris Ryan is a SAS trooper that in 1991 was operating in Iraq with the patrol Bravo Two Zero (che one of Andy McNabb).

The guy managed to escape the capture when his patrol was surrounded by a good portion of the Iraqi Army, and was the only one to reach safety in Syria, still in combat conditions after 400 km by feet.

On BBC Prime channel, yesterday, there was a program where four SF people (one ex SEAL, one ed Green Beret, one Royal Marine and one ex SAS...) and Ryan were challenging.

All fully equipped (M4 was softair...) Ryan was escaping tring to reach a exfiltration point at determined time, and the other SF guys were trying to catch him before exfiltration.

All the tecniques were explained (very difficult for me to get all the words, they were NOT speaking exactely Oxford English...) and action showed.

Chris managed to escape also this time...

SAS have guts...

Those guys are good.

While in England last year I watched a reality show where they put a group of ordinary civilians through SAS-style training.  There was a tough old SAS trooper in charge.

After each ordeal or exercise, the weakest performers were eliminated.  In the end the person who won it received the grand prize:

A handshake from the SAS trooper!

It was an interesting and entertaining show to watch.
