Like the title says, I need a PDF editor that works on a mac.

Would prefer free but willing to pay for it.

I used Scribus once and it did the job.  Haven't needed to edit a pdf since so don't know what else is out there.

Acrobat Pro IIRC, or I will use Illustrator for touchups but only in an extreme situation... The text gets real wonky.

Do you need to edit current pdf files or just create pdfs?  If you just need to create, when you choose print click on the pdf button.



ETA:  You can use preview to make basic edits.

Need to edit exsisting ones, not just basic edits either.
