So I get home this evening to find my thread locked. Which it may as well be since most of the posts were gif/jpeg trolls ironically calling me a troll. It's also funny that I've been a part of this site for way longer than most. By the way, if you'd like an explanation as to why I have so few posts, search for my first one. Anyways...
I'm curious to hear everyone's definition of trolling. Here's mine: Trolling, verb. To make a post with no inherent humor, intellectual, or otherwise helpful value for the purpose of eliciting an emotional reaction. So what's yours? Also if anyone would like to have an at least coherent discussion on OWS, I'm all for it. Much of our perceptions are based on how we are exposed to something. My perception of OWS has been based on watching videos (raw footage) of it unfolding. I'd like to hear yours to broaden my understanding of what is happening. I don't agree with increasing taxes or marxism, and I won't be chanting propaganda that's being fed to crowds. These people are fighting the system that has turned neighbor against neighbor. Everyone is polarized, hard left or hard right, on silly issues. Meanwhile everyone is getting fucked from both directions. Bush lets down the right, Obama lets down the left. This is a semblance of a revolution to unite everyone, once again, as Americans. |

Your other post was far too stupid to take seriously. It was the opposite of fact. It was libtarded. Seems to me that it was explained pretty well for you before it got locked, so I don't know what you're trying to accomplish by starting another thread on the same topic.

The uniform is an honor and a privilege to wear...not just because it was once a job that he somehow managed to keep. The police, in my opinion have been far too concerned about being nice to people, and should be feeding their ASPs with the hair they desire. These people are protesting (which is their right) for what would become one of the great collapses of our Constitution. By encouraging this behavior, he is nothing more than a traitor in my eyes, and should be stripped of his uniform. If he is going to wear it....then let him wear it in honor, by being presentable and in uniform appearance. Instead he has his shirt completely unbuttoned and looks sloppy, not becoming for a Marine, IMHO I heard a story one time, from my professor for Criminal Law.....He said they were protesting down at the county courthouse, and were fixing to burn an American Flag. As soon as they threw it on the ground, and doused it with gasoline. An elderly man stepped forward and snatched it from the ground, and wrapped the gas soaked flag around his body. He said " I fought for this flag and this country in WWII, I did not fight for politics, I fought for freedom, and that is what this flag stands for. There will be no flag burning today!". I see photos of protesters crapping on an American flag, and this Marine, is supporting them? I do not know about New Yorks people, but if you tried that in my town, all would not end so pretty for we have pride in more than just a country, we have pride in ourselves. Humble Warrior? If an officer asks you to step off the street, you are allowed to be on the sidewalk, but not the street. Yet the person does not move after being ordered several times to move. They are not expressing free speech, which they could be doing from the sidewalk, they are expressing a rebellion from the police, who are trying to keep order. If they do not comply with police in a reasonable and timely matter, in what could be considered a borderline riot, any lumps they get is just the free education they desire. -PC- |

I have no intention of supporting a movement whos base philosophy is class warfare and communism/socialism. The last thing that movement needs is to build strength and momentum. It is bad for the nation. I don't care if there are some libertarians and Obama haters in the bunch. The message is pretty clear and I want nothing to do with it. |

My good man, if you were an authority figure in uniform, which has pledged ethics to protect and serve, and asked me numerous times to move and I did not, I would certainly expect an ASP in the face...Now you are ignoring and trying to evade the question....You said you have seen several videos and thus have proof....show the proof or GTFO....Not hard. If you did not really see them then fess up and say so. Until that point, you are just an enabler for a communist agenda. Let me guess if a guy is holding a knife, in a dark alley, and the police tell him to drop it, and he does not after many orders, you would probably bitch if he got tased...or even more realistically shot.
