What do kids get when you take the UN and add a little bit of Berkeley politics, CA?[@:D] International Woman's Day!! http://www.un.org/av/special/women/ I tried a google search for "Internation Men's day", but guess what? |

Quoted: I tried a google search for "Internation Men's day", but guess what? They don't celebrate us misogynist oppressors. About the only thing Islam got right: "Omar reported from the Holy Prophet (Muhammed) who said, 'No man shall be questioned for beating his wife.'" (Al Hadis, Vol. 1, p. 215) [peep] If my wife sees this I'm a dead man. [chainsawkill] |

Gentlemen, Please join me in celebrating the glorious achievements of women around the world! March 8th is but a stepping stone in the continuing struggle for international womens rights. We at the United Nations are ever striving for equality and peace throughout the world for all peoples. I joyously anticipate your participation and continued support! Thank you. |

Let's not forget the pedophile prophet angle, either. Mohammed was ahead of his ( and my) time with his progressive, visionary exploits [sic] into "intergenerational" sex. [flame] Let's face it. The female species just SAYS it wants sensitive, caring males. Look at who Hitllery hooked up with. [flame] Yep, any women wanting world peace and a highly developed culture should definitely take up residence in one of Sadaam's palaces and enjoys the gentle foreplay of Qusay or Uday... [sex] |

With some fear that my previous post would be misinterpreted, I'll write that I actually support days of recognition like this. Even with all of the human rights struggles aside (and that's really impossible), why not take a day to celebrate women? On even the most selfish, superficial level, this is great. I certainly don't feel left out. I'm thrilled to shower females with attention. IMHO PS, Isn't this at least part of the reason the US had a military presence in Afghanistan? Blood was shed. . .and less on the soccer fields. IMHO |

http://www.un.org/av/special/women/ I tried a google search for "Internation Men's day", but guess what? Are you the kid who whined during Mother's Day that there wasn't a special day for you? |

IMHO: I don't hang around here that often, so I don't know your screen personality. The only reason I bring this up is that I my aunt and her daughter (my cousin) have now invaded my quiet country home because cousin had the day off. Which isn't too bad, seeing that this happens only a few times a year. And given that exactly 3 days are spent on worthwhile subjects in skool now in Berkeley, I believe that this day would be better spent learning the 10 planks of Communism. Oh, by the way, I was the kid that gagged your mom.[:P] Have a great day. Paul Edited to remove any hints of inbreeding (thanks IMHO [:I]) |

Quoted: Kofi, What about this female genital mutilation we hear takes place in your beloved continent??? Love, ww Sir, We at the United Nations are ever striving to bring about international peace, harmony and universal understanding. A key component of this complex equation is acceptance of the culture and traditions of those that are "different" from your western ideals. Only through learning to accept and embrace this cultural diversity can we achieve our goals. One World! Thank you. |

Oh, by the way, I was the kid that gagged your mom.[:P] Have a great day. Paul Yeah, well, even if you did "hang around here" you probably still would have only a vague concept of my personality. A "Mother Joke"? How's this one: Your aunt's daughter is your niece.[:)] All in good fun, IMHO |

Only through learning to accept and embrace this cultural diversity can we achieve our goals. So your country can mutilate their woman, but when our country questions the need for a "women's day" you get your panties in a bunch? So what you're saying is that we have to accept your ideals, but when it comes to you accepting our (i.e. our 2nd Ammendment that you so brashy put down in another post)ideals, you scoff? |
