I ride a bicycle between 20 and 60 miles 3 times per week. I ride through downriver detroit into southern michigan. I have an xd45 holstered in my left armpit the entire way. Open carry. No permit. Perfectly legal.
I understand there are members who believe my actions are alarming. I hope they chime in with their reasons. |

I find cycling through Detroit very alarming if you need to know. Reason being that downriver is to fucking close to Detroit for gawdz sake. |

I thought you lived in the great state of Texas. I thought that myself !?!? I'm a Texan getting an education in Michigan. UT wasn't good enough so you had to go to UM..... Oh man, jabs from left and right... I would have loved to learn from Texas schools but I was offered a free education in the Great Lakes State. |

It's ok if you promise to wear burnt orange to all the games.... |

I open carry sometimes, because it is more comfortable and simply because I can. What use is a right if you don't use it? You also have the right to fuck a dude in the ass. If that's the right you cherish and wish to protect then more power to you. |

I'm more alarmed that you feel the need to post about it on the internet other items of concern include:
The Croats make a fine weapon indeed. Downriver Detroit has been an excellent source of entertainment and trashy women. I cannot complain. |

I ride with my glock at my 6. My T-shirt rides up and reveals my .45, but who cares? And here's why:
Silver Comet Trail Atlanta GA plus you're moving at decent MPH... not like someone is going to sneak up and grab it. Carry on. |

I have high hopes that our legislature will one day agree with you, instead of continuing to agree with those aforementioned members. Until that day, I'll CCW. |

Bad life plan. Sorry, you need to move. Not at all. Would you walk the length of your fence without a hammer even though you believed it was in good repair? I expect everything to turn out well around here. It is an excellent neighborhood. Contingencies should involve everyone of us. |

I have a hard time comfortably concealing anything without wearing a jacket, so I just Open Carry most of the time. Although around here I end up wearing a jacket 8 months out of the year anyway. I don't exactly live in the center of Conservative America either, and yet I've never see anyone running away in fear, calling 9-1-1, or any of that bullshit. I've seen some people do a double take and go about their business, but that's about it. In my opinion, OC makes you less likely to be targeted by criminals. Like why risk robbing the gas station with an armed guy in it, when there is a much softer target across the street? However, I suppose if Robert De Niro and a team of professional bank robbers storm into my bank, I'm probably screwed. But I think I'll take that chance... I don't think OC is any better or worse than CCW, the best option is the one that works for you in your situation. I don't call CCW'ers, "pussies" or, "cowards". I don't much appreciate being declared an, "attention whore" or, "tough guy".
