Who here uses Open Office?

I'm trying print on a 4x6 sticker and every time the printing is off the paper by a good inch on one side. Nothing I manage to do changes anything. Anyone have any ideas?

If I can't get this figured out I'm going to have to cough up the cash and go back to MS Office.

Are you using the latest printer and video drivers?

I do labels for return addresses and other stuff and have no issues.  What brand and size labels?  Companies like 3M have templates that you can use for each of their products and they have worked flawlessly for me.

I installed Libre office on my new laptop and now prefer it over open office.

I used to use Open Office, I never had a printing problem.

I have since switched over to LibreOffice, it seems to be a bit better than Open Office (both are free open source).

Are you using the built in sticker templates (Avery)?

IIRC LibreOffice is a fork of OpenOffice, done by people fed up with how bad OpenOffice development was. And it's definitely better, though I still have trouble finding things since I have Microsoft Office.

Print to PDF, then print to the sticker if the PDF looks right?

I use Open Office at home for simple things.  Don't feel bad, sometimes I can't print things how I want with Microsoft Office at work!

Not sure about Open Office but in Libre Office you can open a <FILE/NEW/LABEL> and choose the AVERY label type as a template - this works great for me.
