I liked Halflife, and I think it's newsworthy that it's now available on the Mac. It's not the only game available on the Mac (I've been playing COD4 for the last several weeks). Valve is eventually going to use the Steam platform to simultaneously release all their new games for OSX and Windows –– right now they're just catching up.

It's much better to wait for them to be released on Mac, because then you know it was really good.  I am a slow buyer as well.. I would much rather buy a good/great older game (that is brand new to me) than a brand new release that is a waste of money.. :-) Brian |
