Seems to me that mags are getting a lot easier to find!

After watching that ABC 20/20 thing that Dian Sawyer hosted about guns in America I feel we are just getting started for  much larger orders for firearms and firearm parts. IMHO it will not be long till our new people in the white house start getting a new firearms ban in the works.

I posted over a year ago that the prices would start going up if the election went as I thought it would, and it did. I said now was the time to start buying what you feel you need. I sure hope some of you took my advice.

As far as seeing the OUT of STOCK listed everywhere you look, you might just as well get used to seeing it.

I have seen more AR receivers, LPK, mags, etc lately so there might be some relief in the not too far future.  Now upper receivers and stuff––that is a different story.  Lat week we had the big Wannamacher show in Tulsa.  I know Model 1 Sales and M&A were both there and you could not get around their booths.  A couple friends I went up with ended up getting like 4 or 5 kits between themselves––and I would have probably snagged one but I grabbed a couple pistols before we went up.

On a side note, Model 1 Sales were telling people to buy their kits at the show and cancel their orders since they are 6 months behind on shipping.  I know there has been talk on the board about it.  I feel that their business model is not to hire or work OT to get more kits out––eventually the market will catch up to demand and they would have to lay some people off, just a hunch.

I noticed that, too. I hope the other parts of an AR catch up soon (ammo, too).  This is getting ridiculous.

It's just the opposite with ammo, hard to find 5.56 anywhere . Even the CMP is sold out of their M2 .30 ball Greek ammo in the boxes (240 rds per can). They've now imposed a 10 can per year limit on the cans of 192 rds of ammo in clips.

I'll second that....escpecially with ammo. i'm so sick of seeing ammo advertised with notes that say "more soon" etc.  take the fucking advertisements down until you get the ammo.  I promise you're not going to lose a sale if you do.

I hate seeing it also, but it does make it fun hunting stuff down. It makes the little stuff seem like trophies when you find something that was once easy to get and you need it. But mabey I'm nuts. I love the hunt

Screw that, I go to wal mart 2-3 times a week and the best I do is come home with 2-300 rounds of .40 every 2 weeks.I'd rather be able to go once or twice buy everything I need and spend that gas money I use driving back and forth on ammo.

As for the signs...My local Wally World has a sign on the ammo case that reads " due to increased demand our suppliers have increased production" Who the hell are they kidding?

I'm finding that 9mm simply can't be had either.  Midwayusa is completely out of it, except for some really expensive +P jacketed hollow point rounds (uber $$$$$ on that stuff).  It's a shame because I'm realling wanting to shoot my 9mm carbine.
