Ok, so on my wifes new laptop I installed Outlook 2003. I set up the pop3 account from gmail the exact same way my gmail account is set up. The problem is that when I check the settings it wont transmit the password. This iz the error I get: Task 'pop.gmail.com - Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server responded: -ERR [AUTH] Username and password not accepted.' Same settings on my laptop and PC works fine. I'm stumped. And yes, I did allow pop on her email account. |
