I don't support it. I was being a smart-ass. But this does put me into a tough philosophical position: I don't think their actions should go unpunished. But, on the other hand, I don't think that illegal immigrants have any rights. So I'm not sure what the alleged attackers should be charged with. |
Illegal immigrants should have the same rights as terrorists. None. The teens should not have beat the shit out of him and effectively killing the illegal immigrant. The apathetic attitude of alot of people in this country towards illegal immigrants needs to be changed or we will lose our America. It may already be too late. |

(AP) -- Three white teens were charged Friday in what officials said was an epithet-filled fatal beating of an illegal Mexican immigrant in a small northeast Pennsylvania coal town. Those crazy whites: "All three suspects used ethnic slurs during the fight, which ended with Ramirez in convulsions and foaming at the mouth, authorities said." That said, monkey stomping anyone 3 on 1 is bullshit. My spidey sense always rings out when the media gets all worked up in a frenzy. But as much as they whip this one up, it still looks like a 25 year old with a teen ager got killed. I won't ask why a 25 yo is with a teen, I will ask why he was jumped by a mob. White, black, brown or yellow. We would be calling good shoot if the illegal wasn't illegal and shot the ruffians. What I find absurd is that the reporter is more hot on the fact that racial slurs might have been uttered more than a human being died. |
They still have the right to live. Getting jumped and brained is not an effective form of deportation. If you call that apathetic you are diluted. I failed to see that part where he was drunk and ran over an American. Here in the Illegal refuge of Maryland, we have many examples of how Illegal's are coddled and are made a safe haven for residence. It burns me up to no limit, but I will be damned if I am going to call for a man walking along minding his business to get a fatal boot shampoo. |

What I wrote seems to of come out a bit harsh. The teens that did this should be held responsible for his death. It was wrong on all levels, but he should not have been here illegally either. |

Those of us that are students of the foundation principles of the US - including our Declaration of Independence, Constitution and Bill of Rights - understand that Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness are "inalienable rights of mankind". Inalienable rights of mankind are NOT just limited to US citizens. They extend to ALL of mankind. I didn't write those documents. But I am sworn to support and defend the Constituion against all enemies foreign and domestic. IMHO the only ones who believe the inalienable Right to Life is only protected for US citizens, are the ones that were asleep in Civics class, or shooting spit wads when they should have been paying attention

Ignorance actually is a viable defense, in some cases. Hypothetical example: If someone gave you some stolen property as a birthday gift, and you had no idea or reason to believe it was stolen, would it be fair to punish you? |
That's the problem. The Mexican dude never broke into anyone's house. So the country is like a "house?" is that what you are getting at here? If I suspect someone is illegal, I should have the right to kill them "Officer..I thought he was an illegal...so I shot him" "No worries...I'll call the coroner and have this mess cleaned up..." Holy shit dude  |

...and criminals go through a "justice system"....or they get shot commiting criminal acts that justify the use of force...like robbery, and rape. No one is questioning that. Hell, no is questioning that fact that the guy is an illegal and should have been kicked out of the country. No problem with that. The guy was a criminal in this sense. What these kids was murder and they should pay...in adult court. In fact, I think they should get the death penalty for what they did. They are criminal scum and deserve to die. Same as all other murderers and rapists. |

Illegal or not he was a human being. You see DriveNASCAR here in the united states we value everyone's life regardless of their immigration status, economical background or lifestyle. I know that may be a little hard for you to understand but sadly that's the way it is.

bear in mind that this is the same Associated Press that did not report on the Christian-Newsom murders. No excuse for anyone being murdered, though. Deportation would have been fine, but since our government won't do anything, expect events like this to continue. |
I dont agree with the actions of the "white teens" they have murdered IMHO, but I do agree with your sentiments, as long as the GOV. fails to act on the will of the people, which is their primary function, these things will continue to happen and get worse I would imagine. Angry white men have proven to be, when pushed, extremely dangerous.  |
I believe that anything that happens to a criminal while he or she is committing a crime is their tough luck. But, since I'm assuming the teens weren't aware of the guy's immigration status, I think this demonstrates that they pose a threat to other members of society. |
