| I have been playing h1z1 and realize how outdated my computer is. I need to upgrade graphics card, power supply and ram I just do not know what type to get how much it will cost vs buying new computer. here is pc specs http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=c03421691 Any help would be nice obviously I would like to get the best bang for buck. SO top of the line stuff is out the question. |

SO top of the line stuff is out the question. If you have 12gb of RAM like it says in the link, you're fine. Do you need to upgrade your PSU? OEM manufacturers hardly put out any detail on their power supplies. Check the wattage of yours and see if there are any "extra" connections inside that aren't plugged into anything. Also, check to see what style/size/form factor PSU you have in case you need a more powerful unit and if one could be upgraded in your OEM case. With most new gaming graphics cards, you may want to check the inside of your case to make sure you have enough room for it. What graphics cars is currently in it (if any)? In most cases, it's not the GPU that causes a performance decrease, but it's the CPU instead. What's your budget? |

my power supply says maximum wattage 260, it is an HP PSU. I think this needs up grade but to what? my graphic card is AMD Radeon HD 7660D. I experience lag and FPS is horrible. I play the game on medium and made a few adjustment to the game file, this help but still have lagging issue.

Honesty, you can build a decent low end PC for gaming ~$5-600 I'm willing to bet your HP has its own style PSU or is not an ATX PSU. Space in those PCs can be tight. Yep, those consumer grade PC's are pretty much built so you can't make them better, with the hopes you'll just buy another HP from them. Most shit is proprietary, motherboard, PSU, etc. Pull the RAM, and your HDD, then get a new CPU (The trinity is an APU - you don't have a dedicated graphics card, your CPU sort of works as one -- and a shitty one at that), motherboard, GPU, case and PSU. I was only hoping to upgrade for 225.00 but I will have to wait before I can drop 5-600 on computer. I wish I knew more about computers when I bought this one. Honestly I'm not a gamer but this game has got me hooked.

| the big problem with your system is the fact that HP purposefully makes shit out of spec so you can't work on them on your own. Most components would be difficult to use or upgrade. You might be able to get away with adding an external video card (750ti would probably be in your budget and not too taxing on the 300w PSU) which would help your performance, but your CPU is a pretty low rung -- it's not really meant for gaming as much as say checking facebook or doing homework. |

Throw the computer out and get a console. HAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA That is like throwing your Porche out to get a Ford Pinto. Consoles are for 14 year olds and adults to ignorant/dumb to build a PC. Sure I mean some people are willfully ignorant because thy are just too busy with work and raising a family and that is fine and understandable, but if you are an adult gamer and you don't have a PC frankly you are a joke. |

Quoted: I found a review that mentions you can crossfire this pc with the Radeon 6670. I read up crossfire graphic cards it appears this might work but the game has to support the drivers. That card is pretty weak. If you want to see a performance increase, I'd get a better CPU and a better graphics card. Get a GTX 750 or 750 Ti. You'll want a better (compatible) CPU as mentioned earlier to make sure you don't create a bottleneck. Replace the PSU if needed. Hard to say about the PSU. If it's proprietary to the case, you'll have to get your own case. And if the motherboard is proprietary to the HP case, your fooked, unless your good at modding . Welcome to OEM electronics! Also to add: 2 shity GPUs does not make 1 awesome GPU. It just means you have 2 shity GPUs that may or may not keep up with rendering and texture in the game. ETA: did a short search on your desktop. It says they use ATX PSUs, so I'd buy a 500W or 600W PSU and see if it fits if not, send it back or keep it for a new buid. |

You have a 7660d in your computer, which isn't an actualy stand along card. You'd have to buy two of the 6679/, which are already several generations old, and very poorly energy efficient so the option of the crossfire cards at the factory probably necessitated a paid upgrade to it. Get an nvidia's stand alone card, it'll make a difference for sure |
