Nice! My mom used to have a gorgeous wolf-skin full-length fur coat, and it was a thing of beauty. A wolf fur coat! Never heard of it but I bet it's pretty. I can't remember if they bought it while we lived in Germany or in Denmark, but it was very pretty - and I remember my mom liking it because it was fairly unusual. |

Where can you wear a full length fur and open toe shoes? I feel just a little gay for saying that. LOL, I guess Iowa is one place where you can get away with it. It was the Miss Iowa pageant, I believe. No, nobody showed up in overalls and shitkickers but that would have been funny. |

Bastard! Actually, I really like the seal-skin fur coats that you can buy in Denmark, but unfortunately, the only people who wear them are (1) classy ladies, and (2) super-flaming old gay guys

Nice looking coats.
I have always had a question about fur coats. Would it not be warmer to turn them inside out? The fur will trap body heat better and the leather will resist wind and rain better. I realize that a fur coat looks better with the fur side out; I am speaking only of usefulness. Has anyone ever seen any old pictures of mountain men that do something like this? |

IIRC, the main character does this with rabbit furs in Gary Paulsen's Hatchet. |

I always complement ladies when I see them wearing real fur. I think it's awesome. I do, too. I asked my wife once whether it worried her that someone might be offended by her wearing a beaver coat. She said, "people have no right to not be offended." Love it!! |
