Ever think "Hey, I'm at the range and it would be cool to have a box mod that looks like my PMags?"
Well neither did I.....until I saw this - PMag Box Mod So I had to order one. Wonder if the range master is going to complain about me vaping a magazine while people are down range? For $34 bucks ($41 with faster shipping) I had to snag one.....it's tacticool :-) |

Considering that it has the PMag like markings, style, and box I'm sure that they will care as soon as they catch wind of this. And they should because if this is a shoddy mod they wouldn't want anyone thinking that they allowed their name (or product if this is built from a PMag body) to be used in this manner.
Nonetheless I am curious and will provide a review when it arrives. It looks cool and would provide a neat talking piece when friends come over. Kleinman - I highly doubt doubt that it includes batteries because most mods like this do not (I have yet to see a removable battery device that comes stock with batteries). Besides, at this price point would you really want those batteries? A decent pair of 18650s run around $20 online as is. |
| I got one last month other then it being a mag with the word "sparkle" on it it kicks ass. Great life with the dual batteries fits in pocket nice good solid feeling click button. Pain in the ass to change batteries tho need to push down on the release thing ie with a key or coin to slide it apart but easy once you're used to it |

You can get a pair of Samsung 25r batts for around $11-$12 all day on eBay from reputable dealers. I use a pair of them alongside a pair of VTC5s. Cant tell a difference, at all. Even in a mech mod. That looks more like a first gen Kanger Subtank Mini with blue rings to me.... |

However, I don't like pointing people that direction due to the clones and flat out fakes that are on eBay. Have to be careful and verify the seller as best as possible. |

Thanks OP for bringing this up. I would not have been aware of it, otherwise. Ordered one too! I found out about it over on Vaping Underground in the Veterans section. Just like you, I would never have been aware of this either....or even thought about putting a pair of batteries in a PMag and mounting a tank on top to build a mech mod. But this looked too cool not to have one! Mine arrives tomorrow and I have a pair of batteries charging as I type!! |

Amazon has 4 packs for $25ish, its a no brainer if you are prime eligible. |

It's a sparkle tank. He even states it at the beginning of the video. Thanks for the info.....I had to listen to it several times before being able to hear him say "its a sparkle tank.....". Previously it sounded like mush to me as I couldn't get through the thick accent. Too many years playing in front of a heavy hitting drummer! |

Well guess who's getting even more more money from me...... |

Does anyone have one of these yet? Do these require flat or button top batteries? Or does it not matter with this mod? Mine just arrived. Flat top batteries work fine although I'm sure that button top would work as well due to the negative terminal springs. Here's a "basic" review.... It looks just like the pictures. The plastic used feels a bit thinner than a real PMag (although I do not have a PMag on hand to compare it to).The dust cover is removable in the same fashion as the PMag. The bottom plate is removal to insert the batteries. You will need a flat head screwdriver to push in the spring plate so the bottom will slide off. Internally it is not a PMag although it is completely hollow. It has ridges to keep the batteries in place. After dropping batteries in and reinstalling the bottom plates, there is no rattle of anything. The mod feels very solid with a decent weight to it. I dropped a Subtank Nano on it with a 1.2 Ohm coil and started vaping. It works just as I expect it to. Things I noticed right off the bat - first, there is a slight ramp up delay so the charging board plays a role in firing the atty. So this isn't a "true" mech mod and more like an eGo ONE (no big deal to me). Next, because the dust cap is removable (and the 510 connector is mounted in the dust cover), there is a chance you can damage the wiring by playing with the cap. Also, because it is just plastic on plastic without a gasket or anything, keep an eye on juice leaks. Third, if you take the dust cover off, you will see the circuit board. As mentioned, leaking juice might seep into this area possibly shorting out the electronics. Fourth, when you remove the floor plate, you are staring right at everything. There is zero protection for the electronics. Be careful here. Nonetheless, this is a pretty cool box and over the past hour I've enjoyed vaping on it. It's a kitschy piece that won't be a daily driver for me. But it will be fun at the range and a certain conversation starter. |

Mine showed up last Friday.
It is a pass through design, also has a charging & charged status light. Currently running a .35 ohm, 22ga 3mm i.d. coil in the ST Mini rba, 5 turns, spaced. Instructions, if you can call them that, claim .02 ohm capable. I'm happy with it. |
