So I went electronic shopping today. I ended up with a HD-DVD drive for my XB360 and a few HD-DVD movies. The big news was the PS3. Every store I went into had PLENTY for sale. BB had maybe a dozen or more on the shelf, and it didnt look like people were too interested. Same with EB, and Gamestop. To top it off, the PS3 on display at BB was locked up. The reset button on the kiosk had no effect, the thing was locked solid. I told the sales guy it was locked up and he came back with "tell me something new- the PS3 is trash. Half of them have been returned since we started selling them" |

From the old days of the IBM mainframes, this was an "undocumented" feature. ![]() I was down at the local Fry's Eelectronics, City of Industry(15 miles SE of Los Angeles), and they had like 5 of them locked up in the equipment cage. This can't good news for Sony because they pretty much bet the farm on the success of the PS3 console. |
