Picked mine up on Thursday for $214 out the door at Target (BF deals).
2 days in, probably 12 hours on it so far, what I notice is that it will spin the disc for a while once you start playing it, my guess is it installs the game on the HD, then once installed, I never hear it spinning again (unless you swap the game), but it doesn't continue to spin after it's been installed. This probably decreases the heat. I don't hear the system at all after the disc stops spinning. We'll see how it does. I've had my PS3 repaired and I wasn't happy with it failing a lot. Hoping this second gen PS4 will last a good 10+ years, that's what I'm expecting out of it. |

It was $360 earlier this week through target or amazon. |

I need to sit down and do some more research to make sure I ain't doing something wrong, but I've had some nat issues giving me grief on PS4 party chat. It's very inconsistent, about the only way my party chat works 100% of the time is to establish a DMZ on my router for the Playstation and run ports wide open. |
