How do you like the Bobros and any more pros and cons info you can provide?  Incredible scope mounts and only ones I use.

They’re great, I put them on all my guns

When they’re not in use it’s like they aren’t even there

Bobro makes good shit, Andrew is good people

That is my favorite AR set up, got three of them. Light, handy, well balanced and superior gas length.

Outstanding write-up!  Mind if I plagiarize it when my PSA 16" mid-length rifle gets here today?

I've heard of problems with the carbine length gas system, which is why I get mine with mid-length gas systems.  I have no idea where I got the idea that carbine length is problematical; probably here.  Don't know if it's true or not.

@797hp

Just ordered the billet with the quad rail.

Do you know if the upper receiver rail is high or low config?

Shopping SLR handguards as I'm not a fan of the quad rail. Missed the deal on the non-quad rail Sabre.

I don't think it's a high rail, I would call PSA to confirm that before ordering a new handguard

@797hp good looking rifle bro. Mind sharing which Bobro sights you’re running?

Exactly.

Don’t forget. Everyone is a ninja and 300BO is king.

300 BO sucks for anything beyond 75 meters at max 100 meters.

I’ll take a shorty 308 over a shorty 300BO anyday as well …

Only edge 300 BO provides is over 9mm …

Dude, I really don’t care what you think.

It’s not your gun, so why are you so concerned about it?

A short .308 is going to pack more of a punch than a BLK, all day every day and it’s not going to drop like a rock after 100 yards.

I have one rifle chambered in .300AAC and a half dozen .308’s for a reason - the BLK sucks and with subs it’s even worse.

I agree.

I shot a deer at 50 yards with my .300 Blk. I used 110 V-max and it had an exit wound in the heart area.

I used the same .300 blk but with 110 Barnes Black tip, and shot a large buck at 200 yards. I knew it was hit but it took us 45 minutes to find it, there was no exit wound. Bullet ended up under the hide. It did break ribs on either side. ??
