I've been able to view two different M4A1 rifles myself, along with, as you say, "literally thousands", really more like 20ish high quality images forwarded to me. Almost each one is slightly different from another. Possibly different years, or lots, or MFG sites, who knows. YOU may not notice a difference, but other people do, and will. PSA is working hard to get this lower to resemble what Colt would claim they have been stamping on M4A1 lowers all along. If they get it right, it was worth the time invested. I will agree with you on one thing, they will sell a ton of them if they hit the mark. Tons. From my count, the highest individual custom lower sold so far has been the Snek (It has sold more than all previous custom lowers produce up until Snek production, combined). I can see the M4A1 clone matching or besting that number easily. Based on clean lines, not everyone wants a themed lower, but most folks that want a themed lower, probably will want a clone. |

I think these would sell really well, along with the Freedom series and Space Force series. I will be buying multiples of each. I personally don't get the TV and movie trivia lowers. Guys
I want to give a shout out to @wingmanchris. A while back he posted he wanted a SNEK lower but couldn’t get to ordering one due to various reasons. But, he was willing to do a FTF trade for a PFG he had. Well I don’t live in his state but told him I’d be willing to pay all fees if he’d be willing to send my way. He said he’d think about it but was giving the local thing a try first. In mean time they sold out on what was thought to be the final run. But, they became available again and knowing I miss out on my chance to trade, I let him know they were on PSA’s site. He did not respond and I figured he got one. They sold out again. Then again, came the another barrage of SNEK lowers and once again I informed him they were for sale. This time he said he could not get one due to Christmas and all but said he would take me up on my offer to trade sometime after the New Year. I was flabbergasted. I contacted him in January sometime and asked if he was still interested in the trade. He told me that he is a man of his word and he said he would do the trade. It took a while between our busy lives but we made it work. I am great full, a PFG now resides in the herd thanks to Chris, a man of his word. This was long, but I felt compelled to give gratitude to where it’s deserved. I was once told a man is only as good as his word and he could have easily just ignored that and blew me off. Mind you this was done without ever talking in person or on the phone. Thank you Chris for giving me the opportunity to complete the series.

Since M4A1 lowers won't be out for a bit, I wonder.... how would y'all feel if they had PSA's logo on the side instead of a blank space where half a dozen people might get a Colt logo engraved?
I for one would prefer it that way, I'll never get around to paying more than the lower cost just to get a pony engraved on a lower that says Palmetto State Armory. Point being, this lower is gonna be awesome for cloners, but it won't be a "genuine Colt M4A1 lower" - so why not be proud of that fact it's a PSA? I'm still in for 5 no matter what.

The goal was to get a lower that gave people an option to engrave it or just leave it blank. Plus, one could opt in for the mil style FN logo if they wished. I'm going no logo on mine. But that could change if I buy more than I think I will initially buy
