One page back for a few Halloween suggestions. I can design a few more, and also maybe a Thanksgiving one. The Civil Defense lower has been requested multiple times, no response on those requests so far. Also, quite a few on the confirmed list which have not seen the light of day. I am sort of holding out to see what PSA wants to do. Brick, I like the pumpkin one, but would there be copyright issues with boltface? the second one is good, real good, if that is a vampire looking guy. not too keen on the last halloween one, as not many folks may know about the Gangs of new york. As for civil defense I prefer the one with the CD in a triangle/circle... I think if we say we're going to go with this for the Civil Defense type lower, we may be able to get Josiah to try to get a green light on it. Same for a Halloween one.. we just really need to pick one and put it up to josiah so we can see if he'll be ablle to get one approved. I understand about waiting on PSA to see what they're going to want to do, but as of 2 weeks ago he was positive about starting some of these up again.. so i hope we can get them moving forward again. I just want to be sure we're johnny on the spot about getting these made in advance of the specific holidays so that they can be purchased before the holiday arrives and thus sell out hopefully by the time it has passed the holliday. or so i hope. PSA has lost me as a customer.
Temporarily. Last night I tried to buy the KS7 at a good price with free shipping. Went OOS while in my cart. Put in a back in stock notification. Got the notification today that the item was back in stock. $200 more.  I'll still spend a lot of money with PSA, but I missed the boat on the KS7.

While I like the fact that PSA did so many meme lowers, sold a shit ton of 'em, and all, the only stripped lowers I've ever bought were the M4A1 and M4 Carbine lowers.
The only "meme" lower I will commit to buy in the future is the Civil Defense lower, although if PSA had the balls to produce the Fuck Around Find Out lower, I'd really have to think about that one. Having said that, again, I applaud PSA for the meme lowers and approve of anyone buying them. |

I owe the group an apology.
I remember having a conversation with Josiah a while back (year before last maybe), concerning the Sugar skull design. I misunderstood (likely assumed), thinking the issue was with my prior choice of selector markings & serial, not the image itself. This one is on me, and is my mistake. I've been working on a classic-retro style design recently which might be a good Halloween release. It would also appeal to a larger audience I think. Needs a bit more fine tuning, but maybe a better fit?  |
