Today was wild. Started off normal, then I went to a jobsite to help out and had to break up a fight before it started. One of my guys yelled to a truck driver, he didn't listen, so he yelled louder. Truck driver jumped out of the truck and they were toe to toe instantly. I got in between it fast enough to keep anyone from swinging. Both of them were wrong, but they were both ready to get after it. I said "Can everyone just calm the fuck down and you guys can kill each other after this truck is empty? I'm on the chute, get back in the truck." Got the trucks gone, job done and we went different directions. I fucked up in traffic and cut out in front of someone. He beeped, I rolled down my window and apologized...boy that didn't work. The guy was flipping the fuck out. I'm convinced if we weren't actively moving on three lanes he would have jumped out. He kept screaming out the window as I changed lanes and took my turn. I was on the phone with my dad at the time, so he heard the whole thing and goes "People are fucking crazy right now", then told me a story from yesterday of him almost hitting a guy walking up on on ramp to the highway when he ran out in front of him and the guy tried to goad him into pulling over to fight. If prices keep climbing, everyone is going to have to up their meds or something. |

A friend of mine was telling me a story of some dumb ass behavior they witnessed. They wanted to intervene and asked my opinion. I reminded them that people are on edge. They are getting sucked financially dry by the government with no end in sight and the best thing to do is MYOB unless it is a direct threat to you or your kids. People are being raped and no one cares. In before someone tells me I should stop eating and go live under a bridge for the good of the nation or some dumb shit. |

must be an east coast thing, everyones pretty mellow out in sunny Southern Arizona, and I spend all day in traffic and construction ..... I'm the one bringing the asphalt thats got you sitting at the flagger for 20 minutes waiting on the pilot car to escort ya through on this 98* day.... no drama no flippin us off..... people are just tired of the high fuel prices but keep payin it regardless just topped off my 1st gen on diesel 12 gallons at $6.19 per gallon (yea Donalds caught up to sleepy Joe) and 14 gallons in the Ford Chevron 89 at $5.07 per gallon............ |
