It was America's rebuke of the massive slide to the left over the past four years. Independents gave a giant middle finger to wokeism. Focusing on illegals, transexuals, and Ukraine instead of our own country has the tendency to wake people up.

Two assassination attempts and the subsequent burying by the media also had a compounding effect.

Indeed. There is hope.

And at a minimum, Trump will enjoy a senate majority for the next 2 years. Here is to hoping for competent executive appointments, and small government conservative wins. Maybe John Roberts will even retire and Trump can appoint a young justice in his 40s.

I'm really looking forward to the SC appointments. Will be a sad day to see Thomas go (and maybe Alito since he's 74yo), but at 76yo, it's a safe time to hang up on the robes on what was a great run. If Roberts retires, that would be the icing on the cake. Doubt we'll get that lucky though.

Yeah this. A bridge I'll gladly burn as I want nothing to do with people that worship politicians.

I am glad that my Trump vote to cancel out Macros Kamala vote caused some coworkers to call out sick.

Still I will always call out politicians flaws and never stoop to creepy worship levels some have. Just because I vote for someone does not mean I have to gargle their balls and excuse flaws.

That's a weird thing

I'm guy who voted for Trump THREE different elections (2016, 2020 & 2024) but gets labeled a "N_T" for calling out a politician for his performance issues in office (like vocal direct support for gun control in TV conference while literally ) sitting next to Diane Fienstein) or his issuing specific executive actions to direct BATFE to over-rule previous decisions to threaten hundreds of thousands of Gun Owners to risk becoming 'insta-felons" & then bragging about it ... as being "disloyal" .

And Also

I'm a guy who constantly bucked the Doomer tide who were all chanting "It's completely  rigged" "why bother voting" "voting is hopeless"  "your vote is worthless so stay home". Instead that guy created threads telling folks to get off their seats & onto their feet to GO VOTE for Gun Rights.  And we on ARFCOM turned out in big numbers, voted & as a result won s huge victory.

Somehow is more happy that Kamala Harris & the Dems lost than the Forever Trumpers?

LOL.

It's a dawn for a new day in America.  Let's hope the 2nd term gets the important POLICIES accomplished because in the end it is POLICY accomplished Vs. "Promises Made" that counts.

Congratulations to the President Elect. Enjoy a day to celebrate.

The won't be happy. They are literally butthurt that even though the ones they hate voted Trump, they see them are not as all in or dedicated as themselves and that is unacceptable to a zealot.

It's a cult. If one is not as zealous, they are upset at others for  it swallowing the load.

Glad Kamala is out

Exactly.

The man has ended up getting my vote 3 times now as well. And the solid rebuke last night of the wokeism, illegal immigration, etc. was awesome to see. I still don’t believe he was anywhere near the best option for us in 2024, but he has as close to a mandate as I remember a president ever having. I’m hopeful for a successful next 4 years.

I just chuckle at the emotional bunch whose devotion to a man is projected onto others. I really don’t like Trump, but Harris simply could not be allowed to win. And thankfully, she didn’t. And the “voting doesn’t matter” chuckleheads should be reminded of that at every opportunity.

Unchecked craziness on either side is a worry. That’s partly why I voted for McCormick over Casey. That, and Casey came out in favor of ending the filibuster.

Kihn is ignorant of Dear Leader's statements and promises? That can't be true.

“That is a war that’s dying to be settled. I will get it settled before I even become president,” the Republican said during his debate with Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday.

I totally agree, and this is why I'm happy this morning and don't see why so many think we're going to be upset.

In addition to the things you mentioned, it also simply illustrates how shitty the dem candidate was- dumb, no primary, terrible speaker, and stupid. Yes, dumb AND stupid.

The dems still don't get it though, they think it's about race and misogyny and just can't grasp that the vast majority of Americans aren't interested in puberty blockers for their kids and being overrun with illegals.
