Wife sees this at Walmart and puts it in the cart.
Being my normal smart-ass self, I held up the box and asked the couple behind us in line if they thought it would help make perfect pancakes. The lady growled "You should just be happy she is willing to make you pancakes" Her husband tucked his tail. After I got my receipt, the lady said "Hope you enjoy your pancakes, sir" Wow. Sucks to be her husband. Glad my wife has a sense of humor. |

I love pancakes, and have cooked a tall pile of them in my life figuring out how to make them well.
One of the basic rules is a hot cooking surface. I can't imagine the top portion getting hot enough. Second basic rule is real butter, so the edges crisp up with a nice butter cookie like flavor. Third is correct consistency of the batter. Fourth rule is real maple syrup. I prefer Grade B for it's thicker consistency and more intense flavor, but I understand some people prefer Grade A, and am cool with that. |
