I get to brag, just a little bit.
315lbs on decline bench press tonight, for two sets of 5 after my warmups and main working sets. In a Smith machine (its all my gym has) so I haven't achieved true monster status yet on the lift, but still a personal best. I don't ever go to failure so I know my 1RM is going to be higher, goal is to hit 375lbs for reps (2x bodyweight) on the lift by 30 Nov. 200lbs on bench dips (done in a squat rack) alllllll the way down to slay my upper back, traps, and shoulders as well as my triceps. Had a guy stack two 100lb plates on my lap and knocked out four sets of 8. Planning on 245lbs Wednesday and 290 or 300lbs on Friday as the weight went up way too easy. I've been between 186-191lbs bodyweight for almost two years, despite lifting heavy (taking six months off for an injury) and eating everything that I see before my eyes. Goal is to hit 200lbs by 31 Dec. That is all. |
