It's been a really long time since I've seen some even remotely clever personalized plates. Do any of you have personalized plates? |

Mine's coming up for renewal and I racked my effing brain trying to get a VA NRA tag that wasn't taken. Here were some of my attempts... 308 WIN NO 223 REM 223 762 762 NTO 556 NTO ILV 308 308 FMJ 762 FMJ HPBT 308 4ME REM 700 700 BDL All were either taken or "not available" |

Quoted: Been thinking on XCAKID or XSOCAL for my future car(Either a BMW 330 coupe or a Mercedes CLK430. But right now, I am unemployed so this is only a dream). Dude, Why settle for the CLK 430? Hold tough for the CLK AMG 55! Cool. Ours is the onyx metallic with the black convertable top. |

REM700 should be available, I had it on my Ranger Edge, now I have GOTM4 on a FIGHT TERRORISM plate. I'm trying to get an NRA plate and it was a no go. I didn't even try to get another one, although I like the "scenic" one...I'll be picking up a few specialty plates though. You can order (for the most part) any 7 characters on any plate you want. I think it's $10 extra for the non standard plates. I want to collect 1 from each state that says "MUSTANG" and a few from VA that say "223 REM" "308 WIN" etc on scenic plates. They'll look cool haning in my garage/guy room when I get a house. |

I had REM700 on a NRA plate, It doesn't matter what plate it was on though. REM700 on a plain plate or NRA plate is the same to DMV, so no two people could have the same thing but on different plates. |

Not in WI (it's a perpetual fee here, not a one-time thing), but if I did, it (my car has no front plate (no spot for one). Yes, this is legal, at least in WI) would be either: 'FIRPWR' or 'F1RPWR' if the first is taken (I like guns, and I drive a Firebird T/A. It fits)... OTOH, one of the customers at my store has '1911'. He was somewhat suprised that I knew what it meant... |
