| Tell me everything I need to know about the area, and everything I never needed to know about the area. |

Downtown seems to be booming. Screw the 1-10 Westboud from 83rd to the Stack until the reliever is put in, which honestly wont do much, they built it in the wrong place. 5th largest city, Buckeye is the largest city, pop and land wise, it's in the West Valley. Sheriff is a pussy Soro's sponsored Dem.
Great ranges, great camping a short drive from home. Beautiful state. Born here, will die here, God willing. |

Dry and hot as hell. You'll be itching and blowing bloody cornflakes out of your nose two days after you get there. Oh, and crowded. It's like L.A. was moved to Hell. No offense to our Phoenix residents, but Phoenix kinda sucks. Many other parts of AZ are awesome, but Phoenix is like the armpit of AZ. The flat, hot, boring, overpopulated armpit with terrible traffic. |

Fifth largest city in the country and the fastest growing, it's getting crowded.
Tons of Californians. http://azc.cc/2rSz8W1 |
| It's hot, water and A/C is your friend. Yes lots of bars and chicks near the University on Mill Ave in Tempe, ah college. Scottsdale also has some bars and chicks, rich area. Scottsdale Gun Club is very nice, check it out. I used to live at Luke AFB, just west of Phoenix, so air shows over there from time to time. Mountains are fun for hiking, shooting, dirt biking. |

You may want to read this article. Keep in mind Phoenix is a very large city. A lot of it is very nice and safe. The southern portion a lot less so. Phoenix and Tuscon are pretty liberal cites. Most of the rest of the state is pretty conservative. I stay away from Phoenix because of the traffic and because I have no need to go there. There are a lot of big cities in Arizona. If you are coming to AZ and it does not have to be Phoenix. There are a lot of options.

Itching? I never had problems with itching when I lived there. As far as waking up with the dry nose and mouth, just sleep with a humidifier in your bedroom (when needed), and all is well. No offense to our Phoenix residents, but Phoenix kinda sucks. Many other parts of AZ are awesome, but Phoenix is like the armpit of AZ. The flat, hot, boring, overpopulated armpit with terrible traffic. And traffic here is not bad at all for the size of the city. Everything is so spread it never gets that bad for the most part. When I go visit my parents in NW Arkansas the traffic is worse there than here. Same with Colorado when I go visit there. |

Phoenix irrigates the rock landscaping along the interstate rightaways. Some of the water gets close to trees planted there.
There's hot, and there is Phoenix hot. It's about the only place I have flown through that did not intrigue me about investigating as a place to live. |
|
Born there. It is hot, but honestly, August in Charlotte NC is a much worse heat. Drink water, and you are fine in Phoenix.
Been Avery is probably one of the nicest public ranges in the US. Rio Salado on the other side of town is very nice. I have lived in the "Bad" sections of town before, never had a problem. Oh, and open carry is not uncommon in Phoenix. |
|
It's really fucking hot, and no matter what you do if you try to leave you always end up stuck back here.
People always think Phoenix is some separate city but Glendale, Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, Peoria, Avondale, Litchfield Park, Goodyear, Gilbert, Paradise valley are all completely connected together with only a sign telling you you have entered the next city. And cities like Buckeye, surprise, Apache Junction are just minutes away from the connected city. |

I noticed the seal on my cars rear window had failed when I took it through the car wash. Water was leaking in. I need some type of goop to put on there so rain doesn't get in. This was 4 months ago. It hasn't rained. |
