Still new to all this photography stuff, thanks for the advice. Someday i will get the hang of it. |
The A-10 was a static display, look here for some photos I took: Great New England Air Show |
It was tough with my kids pulling at my leg every 5 seconds. I walked up to the A-10, took the camera off my shoulder, waited a few seconds for people to move, snapped the pics and moved on. Spent about 15 seconds for the whole process. Now had I been by myself, I am sure I could have really taken the time to take some great shots. |
I wasn't trying to jump down anybody's throat. I appreciate everyone's comments. Thanks for cleaning up the picture Jax |
Its not bad, what has been said is pretty good as far as technical correction. As far as camera placement goes though, its a matter of opinion... The second shot is great and its your best, you captured the nose of the plane, the background isn't the best, but it works. You got the 'war paint' in the shot, which I assume was your plan. The first picture you have a good foreground/background contrast but you have a lot of dead space with no perspective. If you are going to leave that much dead space I would have moved 15 or 20 degrees to the right. The last shot you aren't square with the front of the plane, again this is just my preference, but it would have been better if you had squared up and got both engines fully in the shot with the center of the plan in the center of the photo. Photography to me is a lot of little things that add up to one whole big thing. Here's what a little sharpening does. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (And a crop and some airbrushing. That bald guy's head prompted me to do this whole thing.) |
