if I could afford a plane, I would be interested in a sea plane. its not sporty, and likely slow for a plane, but the entire concept is awesome. always loved the idea of being able to land on water, opens up a lot of places. wheels for civilized airstrips, and a boat for out of the way places, islands, remote places, etc.
I like the boat style plane over the pontoon style as to me they are a lot more rugged, and less tippy, so your much less likely to flip it when landing on water. Attached File Attached File |
