Got a new pitching machine for the baseball team and it keeps blowing a fuse as soon as I insert a new one, even though the machine is unplugged.

Is there power still in the system somehow? Could it not be properly grounded?

that's really the only answer I can think of. Either a battery backup hooked up somewhere or a capacitor.  Find the Cap, discharge it safely and give in a try. But my feeling is it'll blow as soon as you power the system again.
