I'm trying to wire up a "game chair" with speakers to a PS3, and I picked up a Sony PS3 "Component AV cable" to do so. It plugs into the back of the PS3 console and has 3 video and 2 audio connections on the other end. The red and white RCA connectors for audio out are the ones I'm concerned with here. I plugged them into the audio in connectors on the chair, but am getting no sound.

If you've used this cable, can you tell me if I'm doing this right? Any help would be appreciated.

You have to go into the audio settings on the menu bar and change those to Audio AV cable.

I had this exact same problem but try a few different settings till you get sound.
