Ok... Here's the deal: I consider myself to be fairly intelligent. I have an IQ of 171 and am a former member of MENSA. (left when I failed to encounter any conservatives in my local group) My wife is a molecular geneticist who possesses several graduate degrees. NEITHER of us could figure out why this damn thing works each and every time ! HELP! I am about to pull out all of my hair. (including my back hair!) Spoilers Below! Look at it carefully - the symbols are repeated many times, but the same few numbers always have the same sign: 45, 36, 27, etc. You might notice they're multiples of 9. So take a two-digit number: N = 10T + U T the tens digit U the ones digit Then N - T - U = 10T + U - T - U = 9T So the number you get has to be a multiple of 9. So they just took all multiples of 9, pick a random symbol to assign to them, and displayed it when you clicked. It's an old card/numerology trick, updated with the help of flash. The kick is that the symbols change everytime so you don't catch on. |

ok, took me a while, but here it is. All 2 digit numbers,, minus the sums of those 2 digits equal only 1 of a few numbers. The syymbols change after every time, thats why they disappear. Look at the symbol for 0, 9, 18, 27,36,45,54,63,72 etc, see a pattern? its always that symbol that comes up there ya go, now take random 2 dig numbers, and it will come up with one of these.
