This is my first time asking for something like this but I feel I've run out of options. My wife is having some major issues with stuff that has gone on in the past from both her and I (no cheating). I have forgiven her but she is having a hard time forgiving me and herself. She is the only thing in my life that matters next to our son and I hate seeing her like this. Please pray for her that she can sort out her feelings and return to her home where she belongs with a husband and son who can't live without her. I know it is out of my hands right now and that she knows how I feel. It is all up to the man upstairs at this point and I pray every night that she sill return to me and be able to carry on. Thanks to all.
ETA I know I've lost my way in the past, but seeing what has happened has brought me back to where I'm supposed to be and I feel so much better about the future but so much regret about the past. So if you can throw an extra one in there for me too becasue I could sure use the help right about now. |

NoMoAmmo God bless you for seeking the Lord during this difficult time for your familiy. I'm sure you know that family matters are of the highest priority to the Lord and His people. It would be a honor and privilige to pray for not only a reunification between you and your precious wife and son but to continue to do so on a regular basis. As I have been reading and re-reading your post for revelation and clarity I feel I may have been in a previous marriage, in a simular situation where you are standing now.
I believe that if I knew more things back then pertaining to God's ways and the way that the family is supposed to be structured and managed, that I would still be married to that person today. Although I strongly believe that a man's personal business regarding his family is essentially his own, there is something that I would request from you brother. That is to get a few more details about what is going on here so that when I pray that I can petition the Lord God in such a manner with some specifics as to get the maximum results that you need in the form of assured answers for healing and a lasting situation of love with a continuous harvest,respect and harmonious spiritual growth that only comes with Christ as the head of the man and the woman following suit through her husband. Please believe me when I say that God is indeed a God of specifics when it comes intercessing on your behalf. Not that He doesn't know what the next word that will be comming out of my mouth when I pray, however there is I feel a certain protocol with Him concerning prayer and it has greatly benifited me personally, as well as others in the community of Christ. If you don't want to give me a little more information about your current issues between you and your spouse whatever the reason then I quite understand. I will petition the Lord with the information available. If you would like to im me so that I might be a more effective intercessor for you and certainly about your loved ones as to getting things back on the right track, then feel free whenever you are ready. |

Prayers outgoing.
Allow me to share this word. (Paraphrased from a John Haige sermon) The Three P's of GOD'S Love. GOD in his wisdom knows that his children will have times of trouble. Because of this he has given us the PROMISE that, whenever we encounter a PROBLEM in our life, there will be a solution PROVIDED. IOW, long before you knew you would have a PROBLEM, GOD true to his PROMISE sent his PROVISION on it's way to you. Now it is up to you to recognize the PROMISE, refuse to be intimidated by the PROBLEM, and claim YOUR FATHER'S faithful PROVISION. When I am faced with difficulty I always make sure to say to THE FATHER "I praise you for the PROMISED PROVISION that you set in motion before I even knew that I would face this PROBLEM." With prayers sent up on your behalf, I offer some scriptures that can and will help, if you incorporate them into your lives, both of you. They are specifically for husbands & wives. Now, you do have to apply modern day life to it, as in a wife today not needing to call her husband "master", although I know a lot of you guys out there might love that.
But the basic message in these scriptures is mutual respect and love for one another, and yes, a woman knowing that her husband is the head of the household. Okay before I get any nasty comments from women about what I just stated........I am a woman. The way I read these scriptures are like this......If you would not beat and slap on your own body, or say disrespectful things to yourself to make you feel less of a person of worth.......you should not do it to your wife, or women to their husbands. I am not saying that this is your situation at all, in fact, the only clue you gave us here, about your situation, is that it does not concern "cheating". However, you did mention that you think your wife is just afraid of being "hurt". As a women, I can only think of a few ways that my husband could hurt me....cheating on me, lying to me, or being abusive physically or verbally to me. I think the biggest problem in most marriages, is PRIDE, on both sides. Oh well, I hope you read the scriptures I recommended, and offer them to your wife as well. After you have both read them, sit down and discuss them. Oh, and BTW, have either of you watched the movie "Fire Proof"? If you haven't, watch it. Just to clarify there is no abuse I could never live with myself if I did that. She is hurt becasue she tries so hard and I failed at showing her how much I really do care and love her. It's like working realy hard on a science project and failing kind of hurt if that makes sense. |
