FUDD What does this mean to you? I am trying to work it into my everyday lexicon, so I am looking for a universal definition. Thanks

If I ever use it (which is rare) it is in the context of people who own rifles and shotguns for hunting/trap etc and have no interest in the gun rights of others (semi-automatic weapons, handguns, self-defense etc) believing that their right to use their weapons isn't at risk of being restricted/regulated/banned. |

It refers to gun-owners that ONLY care about hunting rifles or shotguns (for their own particular use), and don't give a shit about any other gun-owners, and would be perfectly happy to throw black rifles or handguns under the bus.
Hunters who believe that "nobody needs something like THAT" or "those things ought to be illegal" about an AR or AK are "Fudds" 
People who are hunters, but have no problem with black rifles, handguns, NFA, whatever - and NOT "Fudds", they are just hunters. It is not a derogatory term from hunters, but one for a specific type of hunter with particular beliefs. |

Also, FUDD is the opposite of MALL NINJA or URBAN COMMANDO - those who ONLY care about their target rifle or EBR and don't give a shit about hunters and/or hunting and would happily vote for anti-hunting legislation. |
