I'm looking for links to the Adopt a Sniper website and the Adopt a Platoon(?) website. A coworker of mine just let me know that her boyfriend is going to Iraq in a few months and she's worried because he told her that alot of their gear is old. I didn't ask her for specifics, because I believe he meant the heavy equipment is old, but she said she's willing to buy body armor herself for him. He's a mortar man stationed at Ft. Irwin in SoCal. If anybody has info on links I can forward to her, please let me know. Thanks. |
