I saw a segment on FOX/Cavuto yesterday, I think, and he had on a nice looking chubby model. He showed lots of footage of:plus sized girls. This may catch on.

I am a connoisseur of plus sized women. It has gotten to the point where my wife makes me wait in the car when she shops, because I have caused... problems... at the local Layne Bryant. But no one can take away the special time I have when the Junonia catalog comes in the mail. That is just for me. |

I'm tubby by their tastes and although people are getting heavier in Korea and China these days, anyone who is"fat" (fat is anyone who isn't skinny) is considered an embarrassment to all. The amount of women 5'2 105lbs with 32-34A or 32-34B cup, throughout East Asia with flat butts isn't just coincidence, it's the ideal figure in Asia. Here's an example of a girl in China some guy was saying was the total opposite of what you'd see standing behind a woman in Miami, FL

I agree. These women are natural looking. I am not attracted to some woman who is 300 lbs, but I don't get turned on by size zero chicks either. Not sure why so many teenage boys are attracted to bone racks. |
I used to ride with a guy who loved the fat chicks. He used to hold his arms straight out to his sides and proclaim "I like 'em THIS big!". And it never failed, any bar we went into he'd wind up with the fattest chick in the place. And considering some of the places we went into, that was really saying something.

The problem seems that people talk past one another regarding weight.
Plus size, obese, fat...they all mean something different to different people. I've seen some team members post pictures of my personal friends in the "thick" BOTD thread and I was thinking, nothing wrong with thick women but there's no way in hell my friend is thick. A girl who's 15lbs overweight is a fatty for most photographers but just right for just about any guy looking to score in South Beach, Miami.
Obese is a more clinical term but even that one gets misused from time to time. Plus size, well, officially any woman wearing size 12 and up is "fat" and Lane Bryant bound but a size 12 is actually a different size in the United Kingdom. Portly, rubenesque, big boned, chunky...the list goes on. Jenna Elfman used to have a decent body but she went anorexic and started looking like a skeleton just before her show got dumped. Some women looking better with more weight, others with less. I can start throwing up examples of ugly women with terrible bodies who wear a size 6 or 8 and attractive ones who wear a size 10. Not all plus sized models are disgustingly gross and not all of them are hot. But nobody wants to preface everything they say by "Generally speaking" or "this is a generalization but" everytime they say something. So they just say, all fat women are ugly when that's not actually the case and some men just have skewed ideas of what overweight is (going by the medical and insurance industry standards on the definition of overweight) I actually am overweight and FEEL fat right now but as soon as I'm over this cold or flu or whatever it is, it's back to the gym.

Let's face it - plus size models aren't women who have 5-10lbs extra, they typically have several orders of magnitude more than that. You either take care of yourself to a reasonable degree or you don't. Hand-to-mouth disease is not attractive, no matter how expensive the clothes are that the model is wearing. |

I'd have to see a couple of different angles to disagree completely. Having spent more than 90 seconds on Facebook and Myspace, I know how creative angles can effectively hide weight in a picture. |
