in July I ordered a electronic collar for my German Shepherd, spent over 100 dollars on it and it stopped working after 2 months.
I contacted Amazon and within 24 hours they responded letting me know that they were sending me a brand new unit for free  and all I had to do was re send the defective unit.

I have a month to send in the old unit or they will charge me for the new 1 but I still think it is a good dealing with customer service. this is actually my first time having to ever return an item online

I just wanted to make it a note that the customer service is outstanding

Thats all.

Never have had any hassle from their customer service.  Always polite and very helpful.  I basically buy everything from there now.

they have a option to refund your money immediately and send UPS out to come get the item free of charge with a prepaid shipping label on the next business day as well!

amazon is amazing on the buying end.  On the selling end you get screwed all the time.  You sell a NIB $400  knife.  The buyer keeps it for 3 weeks.  He then files a a-z claim stating the knife was used even though you sent a new knife.  Amazon takes the $400 from you and gives it back to the buyer.  And now you have a beat to hell $400.00 knife.  This happens all the time.
I have been selling on line for around 14 years.  In 14 years USPS has lost ONE package and it was overseas.  Since selling on amazon USPS has lost around 15 and that was once they were confirmed as delivered to the buyer.   I actually don't call those lost by USPS, they were buyer thefts.  Amazon is wonderful as a customer as a seller you get screwed monthly.
